The best way I can describe it would be if Skate had 2 stick controls and you're playing in the arcade mode. It's a bit 'easy' in that you can pretty much land/do anything by flailing around on the controls but if you have a bit of reservation you can do what you want. It's very smooth and feels pretty good to play.
